Urgent relief for displaced families and children AFFECTED BY WAR IN CAMBODIA
#CambodiaLovesPeace is a volunteer-led peace movement, created in response to the growing refugee crisis of those fleeing war zones in Cambodia.
100% of proceeds go direct to refugees.
Why we exist
They once had homes - now they live in plastic tents.
They once had schools - now they spend their days in shelters.
Thousands of families are now without safety, without stability and without peace. They didn’t choose this war, but they are paying the price.
Even with a declared ceasefire, families remain in limbo - many have no homes to return to and live in constant fear and uncertainty.
We are 300+ volunteers, including students, doctors, parents & coordinators, delivering direct aid to displaced families.
This is not a government effort, this is people helping people.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Your donation supports real families in crisis. We are a small, on-the-ground initiative based in Cambodia providing direct support to those in need.
We are completely not-for-profit whose funds go directly to the crisis.
Your donation to our Go Fund Me will help us physically reach the refugee camps and bring essential living supplies. Some campgrounds are so remote they have no access to modern civilisation and just the clothes on their backs. Our efforts are focusing on items such as:
Tents, blankets & hammocks
Mosquito nets
Shampoo, laundry detergent & sanitary items
Cooking supplies, food & water
Milk & medicine for children
Storybooks for children’s comfort
Backpacks filled with children’s clothes, snacks and toys
what we’ve achieved so far
In less than 48 hours, over 1,000 families have received help from our initiative, through combined efforts of our volunteers, donors and committees. We have assembled 2,000 care packages for families, and have another 2,000 backpacks with children’s supplies, ready to be deployed to those in need.
We are personally and physically reaching the refugee camps and bringing essential living supplies. As at the end of July, we have helped 2 refugee camps, but there are so many more that need us.
More than 170,000 people are displaced.
We need your help.
A little to many, is a lot to some.
